Complementary to SKF linear ball bearings, a comprehensive range of linear ball bearing units are available. They usually consist of a light-weight, aluminium housing that has been optimized to provide high strength and stiffness at the given dimensions. Due to their light weight, inertia forces caused by acceleration are kept to a minimum.
Linear bearing units, ISO series 1
Linear bearing units incorporating closed ISO series 1 bearings are available for applications where the shaft is only supported at each end and has shaft diameters ranging from 12 to 50 mm. These cost-effective bearing units are extremely compact and can accommodate loads exceeding 25.000 N. The range of these linear bearing units contain single units LUHR/LUJR as well as duo units LTDR, tandem units LTBR and quadro units LQBR

In addition to the basic housing design containing a single bearing (LUC), tandem (LTC) and quadro units (LQC) are also available as cast iron flanged units (LVCR). Single bearing housings and flanged units are available for shaft diameters from 8 to 80 mm, tandem and quadro housings from shaft diameter 12 to 50 mm. Except for flanged units, all housings can be ordered in open or closed design.
