Thank you for visiting the website of Imhof Häusermann AG and for your interest in our company and services.

The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally.

1. What data do we collect and process?

When using this website, personal data is collected and processed. This involves voluntarily submitted data (for example, via a contact form), data automatically generated by the server such as log files with IP address, and possibly personal data collected through third-party integrations such as Google Maps. Below, you will find an overview of the different types of data collection on our website.

Contact form enquiries

If you wish to send us enquiries via the contact form, the corresponding content (correspondence data) from the enquiry form, including the contact data you have provided there, will be sent to us by e-mail and stored by us to process the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

We may process information in or relating to communications you send us ("Correspondence Data "). Correspondence data may include the message content and personal data associated with the communication. The correspondence data may be processed for contact with you, protocol management or order processing. This processing is based on our legitimate interests, namely the proper website administration and business and communication with you.

Online shop orders and account creation

Our website has a link to the online shop http://shop.ihb.ch/, which can be used for electronic ordering. If a user makes use of this option, the data entered in the input mask is transmitted to us and stored. These data are:

  • Name, First name
  • Street

In the event of a query by telephone or e-mail, this also constitutes the necessary legitimate interest in processing the data. The other personal data processed during the transmission serve to prevent the misuse of an order and to ensure the security of our information technology systems.

  • Browser type and browser version

This data is not merged with other data sources.

Cookies

Internet sites often use so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your computer and saved by your browser; they do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses but make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure.
Most cookies we use are so-called session cookies, automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

These cookies are necessary for essential functions and are stored automatically when visiting our websites. These cookies store your preferences when you use our websites. Third-party integration Google Analytics (statistics)
inactive (only active with consent)

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service Google Ireland Limited provides. Suppose the data processing controller on this website is located outside the European Economic Area or Switzerland. In that case, the data processing of Google Analytics will be carried out by Google LLC. Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited are now called "Google".

The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. This website also uses Google Analytics for a comprehensive visitor traffic analysis, carried out via a user ID. If you have a Google user account, you can deactivate the cross-analysis of your usage in the settings under "My data" and "Personal data".

The legal basis for transferring personal data is your consent, according to Art. 4 para. 5 DSG or Art. 13 para. 2 DSG, respectively Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO, which you have given on our website.

The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be combined with other Google data.

The data collected (in this case, the user's IP address) will be passed on anonymously to Google's servers for this purpose. This means IP addresses will be processed in abbreviated form so they cannot be associated with a specific person. If the data collected about you can be assigned to a person, this is immediately ruled out, and the personal data is immediately deleted.

Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Google Analytics uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website: Deactivate Google Analytics.

In addition, you can also prevent the use of Google Analytics by setting up this plugin: Disable Google Analytics. This will save a so-called opt-out cookie on your data carrier, which prevents the processing of personal data by Google Analytics. Please note that when you delete all cookies on your terminal device, these opt-out cookies will also be deleted, i.e. you must set the opt-out cookies again if you wish to continue to prevent this form of data collection. The opt-out cookies are set per browser and computer/end device and must be activated separately for each browser, computer or other end device.

Third-party integration Google Maps -
inactive (only active with consent)

This website uses the Google Maps service. This allows us to display interactive maps directly on the website and enable you to use the map function conveniently. If logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not wish your data to be associated with your Google profile, log out before activating the button. Google stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for advertising, market research and/or tailoring its website to your needs. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (also for users who are not logged in) for the provision of needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Google to exercise this right. More information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by Google and further information on your rights in this regard and settings options for protecting your privacy can be found at www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

As for traceability, these are üdocumented via input and disclosure logs, data security breaches are detected, and the resulting consequences mitigated and/or eliminated.

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries that you send to us as the site operator. However, we want to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g., when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.
