Experience of rotating and linear equipment
Technical damage assessments are part of our daily business and are required time and again in order to draw conclusions for the future operation of a system.
In addition to consulting services provided by ihb ...
... a written damage report from the manufacturer can also be requested (separately and at an additional cost). This allows remedial measures and optimization potential to be discussed.
In this context, however, it is extremely important that – in addition to the defective parts – functionally relevant surrounding parts are also made available as another important source of damage information.
A prerequisite for damage assessment is a thorough checklist, which must be sent to ihb for evaluation together with all relevant information and the corresponding parts, after prior consultation.
We are always amazed ... (ihb Services 2021 - image on the right) Believe it or not, well-known companies even employ “market experts” who, in all seriousness, ‘approve’ such bearings for further use... “push it to the limit” or “burnout” in a different way – well, cheers then... :-)
