Profile rail guides are suitable for high speeds and loads

Profile rail guides ensure precise, effortless linear positioning of the patient. These low-noise, low-friction units have been developed for high operating speeds and heavy loads and are easy to install. Profile rail guides are available in a wide range of sizes and designs and can be supplied with or without a lubrication system.

ihb offers four different designs of profile rail guides:

1. LLT profile rail guides in X arrangement
2. LLR profile rail guides in O arrangement
3. Miniature profile rail guides
4. Lightweight roller guides

Profile rail guides are precision roller bearings for linear movements and are therefore suitable for use in almost all types of machines. These profile rail guides make it possible to offer a guide system that offers optimum value for money.

Profile rail guides are available in many designs and sizes and can be adapted to any linear movement thanks to their unlimited stroke.

They consist of a rail guide with ground raceways on which one or more guide carriages with unlimited stroke can move.

The guide carriages are made of hardened roller bearing steel, into which the hardened raceways of the ball recirculating systems are inserted.

Mounting holes in the screw-on surfaces allow the machine parts to be mounted directly on the guide carriages.

Profile rail guides are basically paired angular contact ball bearings in an O arrangement, which are available in different preload classes depending on the application.

The raceways of the profile rail and the guide carriage are arranged at an angle of 45°.

This results in the same load capacity of the system in the four main load directions and a high capacity for moment loads.

Depending on the load conditions and the required service life, you can also choose between two designs.

In addition to the standard carriage length, a series with an extended carriage is available, which has a correspondingly higher load capacity.

A range of different guide systems is available to meet practical requirements. Their main features are load capacity, screw connections as fastening options on the guide carriage, and the overall height.

Thanks to the modular design of the systems, subsequent modifications are no problem.
