SKF precision shafts can be supplied either as solid or hollow shafts. Solid shafts are available in all dimensions required to fit SKF linear ball bearings; hollow shafts have a minimum outer diameter of 16 mm.

They are induction hardened and ground. SKF shafts have exceptionally high dimensional stability and are designed for long service life.
