ihb has been working with leading companies in the field of automatic relubrication for many years and therefore advises its customers on a daily basis on questions and concerns in this area.

Customers often use a lubricant that is specifically designed for the requirements of their system(s) and approved for use, but conversely do not have a suitable solution for optimized relubrication at their disposal.

The image on the right shows automatic relubrication using perma STAR VARIO 60ccm and 120ccm, which are equipped with lines of up to 5m and can therefore also be mounted externally. As the systems are located on a roof and it can get quite cold here in winter, drives that operate down to -40°C were installed for outdoor applications (provided that the lubricant is also suitable for this).

Some of this customer's applications are located in the Ex zone; consequently, re-lubrication must be carried out from the outside of the block so that cartridges can be replaced at any time,regardless of operating hours. Special filling was also required here, as the electric motors are operated with a different lubricant than the pendulum ball bearings of the fans (manufacturer-specific).
